Welcome to the Wind Turbine Index
The Wind Turbine Index is divided into small and large turbines to help you with your specific requirements.
Small turbines with a rated output of less than 100 kW sorted by:
Large turbines with a rated output of greater than 100 kW sorted by:
A wind turbine with a 100 kW output rating typically has a rotor diameter of about 20 meters.
Most of the larger turbines are built in a three-bladed configuration, but many different designs exist to suit different environmental conditions and needs, especially among smaller models.
The largest wind turbines on the market are most often used for offshore installations and have a rotor diameter of over 120 meters and rated outputs of more than 5 MW.
